Married woman accuses policeman, brother of sexually assaulting her for 7 years

YADGIR: A married woman has accused a police constable and his brother of sexually assaulting her over the last seven years and threatening her of life. She has since lodged a complaint with the women’s police station here.

The accused are the woman’s nephews Ramesh and Lakshman. The victim is a resident of Chapetla village in Gurmitkal taluk while Ramesh is attached to the traffic police station and Lakshman is a Gescom employee.

The woman alleged that she was sexually assaulted over the last seven years by the duo. She also said that they would send obscene and vulgar messages to her 14-year-old daughter asking her to strip. The police have taken up further investigation.
