BENGALURU: All liquor stores in the city, except for CL-4, CL-6A licence holders, will be closed for three days from August 20 to 31 in areas where largescale Ganesha visarjan processions are being taken out.
Restaurants and bars with liquor permits will be allowed to serve only food and cannot vend liquor. The liquor ban has been imposed for three days to maintain law and order.
In the north division, liquor shops are closed in RT Nagar, JC Nagar, Hebbal and Sanjaynagar. In the East division, there will be no liquor sale in DJ Halli, KG Halli, Govindapura, Bharatinagar, Pulakeshinagar, Halasur, Shivajinagar and Commercial Street.
In the northeast, there will be no liquor sale in Yelahanka, Yelahanka Satellite Town, Kodigehalli, Vidyaranyapura and Hebbagodi.
