“The annual pass can be purchased for Rs 3,000 through the Rajmarg Yatra app or the NHAI website. This annual system is very useful as it can be used for up to 200 trips or one year from the date of activation. After it is over, it can be recharged again. This pass can be used on tolled roads and expressways operated by NHAI”, said Pankaj Verma.
According to the NHAI official, this annual FASTag pass is beneficial for frequent travellers, as it saves them from repeatedly paying toll charges and reduces the average cost of FASTag per toll to approximately Rs 15. The pass can be activated on an existing FASTag too and it is expected to benefit those who travel on national highways.
