BENGALURU: A low-pressure is expected to develop in the northwest and west-central Bay of Bengal on Wednesday, which may lead to increased rainfall in parts of the state.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy rainfall in several districts of Karnataka, including Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Uttara Kannada, Bidar and Raichur over the next four days.

The IMD has issued a yellow alert for several districts, indicating moderate to heavy rainfall. Bengaluru and surrounding areas, including Kolar, Chikkaballapur, and Tumakuru are also expected to experience rainfall.

The weather department has forecast rain in most parts of the state, with Bengaluru Urban, Bengaluru Rural, Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Uttara Kannada, Chikkamagaluru, Dharwad, Haveri, Shivamogga, Gadag, Belagavi, Bagalkot and Kalaburagi among the districts expected to receive rainfall.
The IMD has warned of increased rainfall from Wednesday onwards, with a yellow alert issued for all districts.
