Woman arrested for selling ganja at paan-beeda shop in Koppal village

KOPPAL: A woman, who was selling ganja at her paan-beeda shop at Ginageri has been arrested by the Koppal Rural police. The accused was identified as Saraswathi, a resident of Ginageri.

The police arrested her based on specific information and seized 25 gm of ganja from the woman. It is said that she had been selling ganja for several years which she would bring from elsewhere.

There are several factories around Ginageri which employ migrant workers. Saraswathi would target these workers, police said. In the last two days, the police have arrested two people for selling ganja, including Saraswathi, and two others for consuming ganja.
