KALABURAGI: Seven people, including some Congress and BJP workers, were arrested for gambling behind the Bapurao Kalyana Mantap in Chittapur town on Sunday.
The arrested include Congress workers Shivarudrappa, Jaganagouda and BJP workers Sharanagouda and Somashekar. The Chittapur police recovered Rs 59,220 in stake money from them and a case has been registered.
