TUMAKURU: The Kyathasandra police summoned a man and warned him after he was seen wielding a knife in a video and threatening another man. He was let off with a warning after an apology and promising not to make videos with weapons.
The individual is Muthu a.k.a ‘black cobra’, a resident of Hosakere village in Madhugiri taluk. He is a groundnut trader near Kyathasandra. The police had registered a suo motu case after social media users had tagged the DGP, DIG and the Tumakuru SP.
In the video, Muthu can be heard threatening ‘Kappe’ Sunil of Holenarasipura regarding the latter’s remarks about social media personality and Bigg Boss contestant Kipi Keerthi. Muthu can be seen wielding a knife and making threatening gestures. He has also made several social media reels about Kipi Keerthi.
