BALLARI: A crocodile was found in a farm pond at Kududrahala village in Siruguppa taluk on Friday. The crocodile was spotted by farmer Prasad on his farm and it was rescued later.
Prasad went to his field as usual in the morning and was shocked to see a crocodile in the farm pond. He immediately informed the Forest department, who arrived there with Veshagara Mallaiah, a specialist in catching crocodiles.
The crocodile was netted and later released safely in the Tungabhadra dam waters.
