KOLAR: Two people died while a few other sustained injuries after two cars collided head-on near the Vakkaleri toll plaza in Malur taluk on the Bengaluru-Chennai highway on Tuesday. One of the cars was coming up the wrong direction, resulting in the accident
The deceased were identified as Eshwar (27) and Janani (24) of Bengaluru. The occupants of one of the cars sustained injuries. The crash was captured on CCTV cameras and both cars can be seen crashing head-on while trying to avoid the collision.
The Malur police have registered a case and taken up further investigation. The highway has been witnessing several fatal crashes with locals for better measures to prevent accidents.
