Bengaluru ATS in Chennai to quiz Malleswaram blast case accused Aboobaker

BENGALURU: The Bengaluru Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) is in Tamil Nadu to question the accused in the Malleswaram bomb blast case, Aboobaker, and gathered primary information.

Aboobaker, the kingpin of the Malleshwaram bomb blast case, was the mastermind behind the blast. He was skilled in bomb-making and had placed a bomb in a scooter in front of the BJP office. During interrogation by the Tamil Nadu police, Aboobaker revealed important details.

The Tamil Nadu police are expected to hand over Aboobaker to the Bengaluru ATS on a body warrant. There are over 12 cases pending against Aboobaker in Tamil Nadu, and the police are investigating these cases. After the investigation, he will be brought to Bengaluru for further interrogation.

Aboobaker had evaded police arrest for nearly 30 years, but the ATS was able to track him down after gathering information from central agencies. The ATS will soon bring him to Bengaluru for questioning.
