CHIKKODI: Three people died in an accident involving a KSRTC bus and a car near Murugundi village in Athani taluk of Belagavi district on Sunday.
The deceased were identified as Girish Ballorgi, Rahul Malashi and Sangu Amargondi, all from Afzalpur in Kalaburagi district. Radhika Malashi, another occupant of the car, was seriously injured and rushed to a local hospital.
The victims were reportedly on their way back after visiting Mahalakshmi Devi temple in Kolhapur when the accident occurred. The Athani police visited the spot and registered a case.
