Six arrested after male nurse brutally attacked in Kalaburagi moral policing case

KALABURAGI: Six people have been arrested in connection with a moral policing incident where a male nurse was attacked by a group of Muslim youths for dropping off a woman Muslim colleague.

Bylappa, who works as a nurse at a private hospital, was taking his female colleague on his motorcycle to drop her off when he was waylaid and attacked by a group of 15 Muslim men in Santrasawadi in the city.

After reports about the moral policing incident, the police swung into action and arrested Mohammed Salman, Mohammed Adil, Mohammed Rehan, Mohammed Uzair and Mohammed Faiz, Mohammed Asif. The police are on the lookout for the other accused.
