BENGALURU: A young woman, who was working as an aeronautical engineer, died in a road accident on Bagalur Road near KIADB Junction. The deceased is Nandini (24), a resident of Huskur village.
A Toyota Fortuner SUV knocked down her two-wheeler while she was returning to her PG in Bagalur around 6.30 pm on Thursday. Nandini suffered severe head and leg injuries and succumbed due to excessive bleeding on the way to the hospital.
The police have registered a case and taken the Fortuner driver into custody for questioning. Nandini was working in Bengaluru and staying in a PG accommodation. Her body has been sent to Yelahanka Government Hospital for postmortem examination.
