BENGALURU: A speeding school bus collided with a truck and a two-wheeler before coming to a halt after crashing into a small eatery on Lakshmipura Road in Bangalore North taluk on Thursday morning.
Schoolchildren travelling in the bus sustained minor injuries and were shifted to hospital by their parents. The Madanayakanahalli police, who visited the spot, said reckless driving by the school bus driver led to the accident.
The driver Narayana (36) has been arrested and registered a case. The bus belonged to New Oxford Public School. Of late, there have been several instances of school bus drivers driving rashly, leading to accidents.
