CHIKKAMAGALUR: Passengers of a KSRTC bus plying between Chikkamagalur and Mangaluru had a tough time as rain water was leaking from the windows.
Several passengers had to travel while standing though seats were available. All the seats next to the windows were vacant as rain water was continuously falling on the seats. Water had also accumulated at the footboard of the bus.
Meanwhile, thick fog on the Charmadi Ghat road had reduced visibility to about 5 feet. Locals said that daytime driving itself was difficult and warned that night driving would be risky.
