BENGALURU: The Intelligence Bureau (IB) and the central agencies have taken the issue of hoax bomb threats through emails to schools and colleges seriously after repeated threats. The Intelligence Bureau started the investigation and is gathering information from all the states.

The emails, which have been sent to several prestigious schools and colleges across the country, have created panic among the authorities. The IB team has visited the city and is investigating the international email network behind the threats.
