BALLARI: A tigress died at the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Zoological Park at Kamalapura in Hosapete taluk due to age-related illnesses. The tigress was aged about 19 years.
The tigress has suffered serious injuries in a man-animal conflict and had been shifted to the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Zoological Park for treatment.
The tigress was undergoing treatment at the rescue centre for about two years and had recovered, but died due to age-related issues, the park authorities said.
