HAVERI: Two people died and one person was seriously injured after a car collided head-on with a bus on the bypass near Kumarapatna village in Ranebennur taluk, in the district.
The deceased was identified as Praveen (36) from Davanagere, while the identity of the other person is yet to be confirmed. The injured, Kotesha Abalur, was admitted to a private hospital in Davangere.
The bus was traveling from Athani to Davanagere and collided head-on with a car. The police have registered a case and are investigating the incident.
