BENGALURU: A 22-year-old accountant at a private firm was found dead on the Kempegowda International Airport road near Mall of Asia in the wee hours on Monday. His two-wheeler (KA 04 JV 2221) was found parked on the elevated road, leading to suspicion that he may have committed suicide.
The deceased was identified as Muniraj, a resident of Shivashankar Layout in Hebbal. He had left home on Sunday evening saying he was heading to meet his friends. It is suspected that he may have committed suicide by jumping off the elevated road around 12.30 am.
Passersby noticed the body lying on the road and informed the Kodigehalli police. The motive for the suspected suicide was, however, not yet known. The body was shifted to Baptist Hospital for autopy.
The Kodigehalli police have registered a case of unnatural death and are going through CCTV footage from airport road. Further investigation is under way.
