TUMAKURU: Three men, riding on a motorcycle, died on the spot after the two-wheeler collided with a container truck on the highway near Nandihalli in the taluk on Friday. Senior police officers visited the spot soon after the accident.
The deceased were identified as Rajesh (25), Dhanraj Megalamani (27) and Dhanush Gowda (23). they were returning home after work and were employed at ME Solar Plant in Dobbspet and engineer and trainee engineers.
Dhanush Gowda hailed from Ankalakoppa village near CS Pura in Gubbi taluk while Dhanraj hailed from Chikkachellur village in Challakere taluk of Chitradurga district. Not much was known immediately about Rajesh.
Additional SP Nagaraj, Deputy SP Chandrashekar and Kyatasandra police inspector Ram Prasad visited the spot. The family of Dhanush Gowda decided to donate his eyes following his death in the accident.
