BENGALURU: A three-day-old baby boy was found abandoned in a school bag during rain near Amanikere in Hoskote and was rescued by locals.
Some unidentified person abandoned the newborn baby, covered with clothes and kept in a bag, believed to be just three days old.
Some locals heard the baby crying in the rain and took it to the government hospital for care. Officials from the Women and Child Welfare Department visited the spot for inspection. The incident was reported in the Hoskote police station limits.
