Youth attacked by pack of stray dogs in Sakleshpur, rescued by locals

The youth was rescued by some locals.

HASSAN: A youth, who was walking back home from a madrasa, was attacked by a pack of stray dogs which left him badly injured in the face, arms and legs. He, however, managed to free himself from the attack and ran home. The incident occurred at Kudugarahalli Layout in Sakleshpur town.

Shahid was walking down the road when a pack of stray dogs suddenly pounced on him. He raised an alarm and some locals rushed to his aid when the dogs fled.

The youth was rushed to the Crawford Hospital in Sakleshpur for treatment. Locals said the menace of street dogs had increased and demanded the civic authorities to take measures to control their population. They said several requests had gone unheeded.
