CHITRADURGA: An accusd in a theft case, who had evaded court proceedings for 28 years, was finally arrested by the Molkalmuru police. The accused was identified as Maruthi a.k.a. Manu.
Maruthi was an accused in nine theft cases registered in Molkalmuru police limits. Despite arrest warrants, he had evaded the police and court for 28 years.
The Molkalmuru police traced Maruthi, who was living in Madikeri, and arrested him. He was produced before a court and remanded to judicial custody.
