MANGALURU: Hours after the murder of Hindu activist Suhas Shetty, three people were stabbed in and around Mangaluru.
In one incident, a young man was stabbed at 3 am in Kannur on the outskirts of Mangaluru. Five miscreants attacked Irshad, a youth who was heading to the city’s market for work, and stabbed him. Irshad managed to escape by running into a nearby house. He is currently undergoing treatment in the ICU of a private hospital.
Similar incidents were reported in Konchadi and Ullal, where two others were stabbed late at night. All three victims are receiving treatment. The incidents come on the heels of the brutal murder of Hindu activist Suhas Shetty near Bajpe’s Kinnipadavu on Thursday night.
