TUMAKURU: A nine-year-old boy died after he was electrocuted while on his way to the bathroom in his house at Somanahalli in Chikkanayakanahalli taluk on Monday night. The deceased was identified as Kushal.
Kushal, the son of Mahesh, stepped to go to the bathroom when he was electrocuted by a low-hanging power line. The parents alleged that despite several appeals, Bescom authorities had done nothing to fix the power lines.
The Chikkanayakanahalli police have registered a case and taken up further investigation.
