BENGALURU: Public TV’s mega educational expo, the 8th edition ‘Vidhyapeeta,’ successfully concluded on Sunday evening with an astounding response. Over 10,000 students participated in the two-day expo and got information about various educational institutions and different courses offered.
More than 120 educational institutions came under one roof and provided guidance to students for their future academic life.

On the first day, Public TV head HR Ranganath and dignitaries inaugurated the programme.

On the second day, thousands of students visited the expo. Students and parents from different districts, including Bengaluru, visited the expo and collected information.
Several lectures were held on the second day too, including a lecture on handwriting by Rafiqulla Beg and a lecture on AI by Dr Sanjay R Chitnis.
The Vidhyapeeta programme saw a flurry of bumper gifts on the second day as well. Students and parents won attractive prizes every hour. One student won a laptop while nine lucky students, including Ishwari, Bharat, Dhruv, Srushti, Mithun, Vinayak, Srinivas, and Surya, won bicycles as gifts.
The programme also featured fun games for students and parents, and surprise gifts were given. The educational institutions that participated in the expo were honored with a memento by Public TV.


“I got information about specialisation and there are ample opportunities and subjects. I want to do Agriculture and medical field”, Thejashri said.
Even parents were appreciative of Public TV organising the event where all information could be got under one roof. “This stage is like eye-opener for all. We cannot visit every institution in a short time, but here, we get updated information about relevant courses”, the said in unision.
