BENGALURU: A delivery agent, who was involved in theft cases, has been arrested. The accused waa identified as Dikshit. The police have seized stolen Rs 1.5 lakh cash and 70 grams of gold jewellary from him which he had stolen from aa builder’s apartment in Bellandur.
The accused would identify houses during deliveries and would later target homes which had lights switched off in the evening. He would use the proceeds of the thefts for betting.
The police had registered a case and launched an investigation. Following the probe, the accused was arrested and sent to jail. A case has been filed at the Bellandur police station.
