Bengaluru: A woman was found dead under suspicious circumstances at her house at Nanjappa Layout in Adugodi. The deceased has been identified as Hema (44).
The deceased’s family has accused her husband of murder, alleging that he had an illicit relationship with another woman and he had arranged a separate house for her near his.
According to Hema’s family, she had confided in them about her husband’s extramarital affair and had even attempted to commit suicide by consuming poison in January. They alleged that a heated argument which had broken out between the couple had led to the murder.

The daughter of the deceased Hema, who returned from Russia on Monday, performed the last rites at the Adugodi crematorium. The police have registered a case of suspicious death and are investigating. They are awaiting the post-mortem report.
In a separate incident, 74-year-old Siddamma, a resident of Railway Pipeline Road in RPC Layout, Vijayanagar, was found dead at home under suspicious circumstances.

It is suspected that someone may have taken the earrings after Siddamma’s death. A case of suspicious death has been registered at the Vijayanagar police station and further investigation is under way.
