BAGALKOT: Three boys, who had gone to swim in the Krishna river, drowned near Seetimani village on the day of Ugadi festival. The deceased have been identified as Somashekhar Devaramani (15), Paranagouda Bilagi (17), and Mallappa Bagali (16).
The body of Somashekhar has been recovered while a search is on for the other two.
The Bagalkot Rural police visited the spot and conducted an investigation. The Fire department was conducting a search for the remaining two boys. The boys were residents of Illyal village in Bagalkot.
