KALABURAGI: The police have arrested three transgenders for stripping naked another transgender, shaving off the victim’s head and even attempting murder. The incident reportedly occurred over a financial dispute.
The arrested are Sheela a.k.a Vijaykumar (38), Bhavani a.k.a Basavaraj (24) and Ankita a.k.a Ankush. The incident occurred a few days ago near the Vishwaradhya temple in Kalaburagi.
After videos of the incident were shared on social media, the Ashok Nagar police arrested the transgenders. The act of the transgenders have come in for much criticism on social media.
