TUMAKURU, CHITRADURGA: Three people died in separate accidents in Tumakuru and Chitradurga districts on Wednesday.
Two people died after their motorcycle met with an accident near Yelerampura in Koratagere taluk. The deceased were identified as Marappa (27) and Sharukh (25), hailing from Ballari. A case was registered at the Kolala police station.
In another incident, one person died after a car collided head-on with a private bus near Chitrahalli village in Holalkere taluk of Chitradurga district. Some of the bus passengers also sustained injuries.
The deceased was identified as Yeshwanth (27) of Shivamogga. The accident occurred in the early hours in Chitrahalli police limits.
