HASSAN: Two Forest Department personnel of the Elephant Task Force (ETF) had a narrow escape after a lone tusker came charging at them at Arehalli village in Belur taluk. The two men were monitoring the elephant’s movements when it suddenly started chasing them.
The ETF staffers Prashanth and Sunil had gone to the coffee estate of one Zulfi where the tusker had entered. Suddenly, the tusker, named Vikrant, started charging at them.
Prashanth and Sunil escaped an elephant attack by running as fast as they could and managed to save themselves. A video of the attack by Vikrant has since gone viral on social media.
