BAGALKOT: The body of a 39-year-old software engineer, who had died at a hospital in Bengaluru following illness, was exhumed on Tuesday in Guledagudda after his mother expressed doubts over the circumstances leading to his death.
Naveen Hegadi had an argument with his wife Snehalatha a few days before his death. Later, he fell ill and was admitted to Apollo Hospital in Bengaluru where he died on January 5. He was buried at a cemetry on the outskirts of Guledagudda on January 6.
However, his mother expressed doubts over the cause of his death and lodged a complaint with the Tilaknagar police in Bengaluru. Following this, Naveen’s body was exhumed after securing permission from the tahsildar by the Tilaknagar and Guledagudda police.
