KOLAR: One person died and more than 15 passengers were injured after two private buses collided head-on near Guntapalli Cross in Srinivasapur taluk on Tuesday night. The deceased was identified as Gangadhar, hailing from Madanapalle in Andhra Pradesh.
Some of the passengers said the head-on collision occurred when one of the buses was trying to overtake another vehicle. The injured were shifted to hospital in Madanapalle and Kolar by the Rayalpadu police who have registered a case.
