BENGALURU: Despite the city police warning of harsh measures, instances of road rage continue to take place.
In a latest such case, two men on a bike broke a car’s rearview mirror and hit the car’s bonnet for stopping at a traffic signal and attacked it for not giving them way to pass. The incident took place at 9 pm last Sunday in KR Pura.
It can be seen in the video that the two bike-borne men came near the car and started an argument with the driver. Despite a 10-month-old baby and a woman being inside, the two-wheeler riders tried to force down the car windshield, but the car occupants did not open it. They broke the front rearview mirror, hit the bonnet and went away waving their left hands.
The driver has posted the incident on X and requested the police to take action against the biker, who damaged the car and abused them during the incident.
In a separate road rage incident, a cab driver was brutally assaulted by a group of 4-5 youths near Jayadeva Hospital in BTM Layout in daylight on Monday.
The youths allegedly attacked the driver for not giving them way on the wrong side. The driver suffered severe injuries, including to the nose and lips.
In the video, two men can be seen involved in an argument with the cab driver having a bleeding nose, standing in the middle of the road amid busy traffic.
