The bus driver's face was blackened near Pune on Thursday night.

KALABURAGI: A day after normal bus services resumed between Karnataka and Maharashtra following a language row, miscreants blackened the face of a KKRTC bus driver and poured black paint on the bus near Pune. They also forced the driver to chant ‘Jai Maharashtra’.

The miscreants smeared the face of bus driver Sadiq with black powder and threw black paint on the windscreen on Thursday night. Following the incident, the KKRTC has suspended bus services between Aland and Pune.
