DAVANAGERE: A man, who fell into a dried up well at Jammapura village in the taluk on Thursday night was rescued by Fire and Emergency Services personnel.
Kumar Naik, a resident of the village, had lost his balance and fell into the old well near the Anjaneya temple in the village. Locals immediately informed the Fire and Emergency Services.
The firemen used ladders to get down and hoisted Kumar up after tying him to another ladder as he had sustained injuries. He was later taken to a hospital.
