HASSAN: Two people died on the spot after their motorcycle collided with a truck near the new bus stand in Sakleshpur on Thursday. The deceased were identified as Akash (22) and Shankar (45).
The deceased hailed from Valalahalli and had gone to Sakleshpur to attend the Sakleshpura Swami temple fair. The accident occurred when they were returning home to their village.
The Sakleshpur town police visited the spot and registered a case. The police have also seized the truck.
