9,700 videos, 7,000 photos found on phone belonging to ‘love jihad’ accused

KOPPAL: The ‘love jihad’ case in Koppal has taken a dramatic turn, with fresh allegations and counter-allegations emerging. The accused Mustafa Khadri is alleged to have had two mobiles containing thousands of videos and photos, including explicit content.

The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) has filed a complaint, claiming that Mustafa had over 6,000 videos and 3,000 photos on one mobile, and 4,000 photos and 3,700 videos on another. The police have registered a case under the IT Act and are investigating. The VHP’s complaint alleges that Mustafa’s actions are part of a larger conspiracy to target Hindu women.

The case has taken another twist with the victim, Sunita, filing a counter-complaint against Mustafa. She alleged that Mustafa attacked her, stole her phone and threatened her. Sunita claimed that she was harassed and intimidated by Mustafa, and that he had been impersonating her on social media.

The police investigation has revealed that Mustafa has connections to interstate gangs and matka bookies. He’s suspected of receiving funds from Mumbai and Goa, using them to lead a lavish lifestyle. The police have seized his mobiles and are analyzing the data to uncover more evidence.The case has sparked outrage in the community, with many demanding action against Mustafa. The investigation is ongoing, with the police examining Mustafa’s financial transactions and mobile data.
