BENGALURU: Seven police officials have been suspended in connection with the birthday celebration of a history-sheeter, Srinivas, alias Gubbachchi Seena, at Parappana Agrahara Central Jail in Bengaluru.
Seena, who is currently lodged in jail for murder, celebrated his birthday with his accomplices by cutting a cake and wearing a garland of apples. The birthday celebration was captured on video and shared on social media.
The video of the birthday celebration had gone viral, and an FIR was registered. Now, ADGP B Dayananda has ordered the suspension of seven police officers after a departmental inquiry.
