5th train set added to Metro yellow line from today, frequency increased

BENGALURU: Metro passengers in Bengaluru have something to cheer on Kannada Rajyotsava day. A fifth Metro train set has been added on the Yellow Line, increasing the travel frequency. Trains will now run every 15 minutes during peak hours, reducing wait times for passengers.

The improved service aims to provide a smoother and more efficient travel experience for commuters. The change applies to all days, with no impact on the first and last train timings. The Yellow Line’s increased frequency will benefit passengers traveling between RV Road and Bommassandra.

The new service has brought relief to passengers who can now expect shorter wait times. Instead of 19 minutes as before, now there will be metro service every 15 minutes.

The metro service has become more convenient and efficient, making it a preferred mode of transportation for many Bengaluru residents. With the increased frequency, the waiting time of metro passengers on the yellow line will be further reduced.
