BENGALURU: Around 4,000 property owners have filed objections to the BBMP’s property tax notices. The BBMP had issued a total of 31,000 notices to property owners who had reportedly under-declared their property details for the e-khata.
The BBMP had allowed property owners to file objections to the notices. So far, around 700 objections have been filed in the Bommanahalli, Mahadevapura and East zones, while around 400 objections have been filed in the South, Yelahanka, and Rajarajeshwari Nagar zones.
The objections are being filed through the BBMP’s new e-nyaya web portal, and the BBMP is currently reviewing the objections.
