30 passengers hurt as bus rams into tree after losing brakes near Bhalki

BIDAR: About 30 passengers of a KKRTC bus sustained injuries after it suffered brake failure and the driver managed to bring it to a stop by colliding with a roadside tree near Konamelkunda village in Bhalki taluk on Thursday.

The bus was on its way from Udgir to Bidar via Bhalki when the incident occurred. Fortunately, the bus was not moving at high speed, and all 30 passengers on board were safe, with only a few sustaining minor injuries.

As soon as the bus collided with the tree, some passengers jumped out of the windows to safety. Locals rushed to the scene to assist the passengers. The Dhannura police visited the spot.
