BENGALURU: The recent string of robberies in the state, including daylight robberies and gold shop heists, has left the public questioning the law and order situation. In the latest incident, robbers stormed into Ramdev Jewellers and Bankers at Dasanapura in Nelamangala taluk, and made off with gold bars worth lakhs after threatening the staff with a gun on Monday night.

The robbers, who arrived on a bike, threatened a woman and then entered the Ramdev Jewellers and Bankers, taking away gold jewellery. The shop staff, Vishnu and Gowtham, two young boys, bravely tried to resist the robbers, but the latter managed to escape. The shop owner, Manohar, said that the boys’ bravery prevented a bigger loss.

The shop owner appreciated the bravery of the two young boys.

The robbers, who had planned the heist, arrived at the shop and threatened the staff with a gun. The police are investigating whether the gun used by the robbers was real or fake. The robbers, who were part of a gang of three, had apparently planned the heist in advance.

The police have launched an investigation and are hopeful of tracking down the culprits. The robbers made off with around 40 grams of gold, and the police are examining the gold biscuits to determine their authenticity.

The incident has sparked concerns about the increasing number of robberies in the state, with previous incidents reported in Mysuru, Belagavi and Vijayapura. The incident has raised questions about the lack of fear of police among the robbers and the need for the authorities to take action to curb these crimes.
