BENGALURU: Three workers died on Monday night after a speeding vehicle hit them at Mayasandra on the Attibele main road in Anekal taluk.
The deceased workers have been identified as Chandan Das (23), Ashim Dehari (21) and Karan (20), all hailing from Assam. They were staying in a house that belonged to Chandrappa and were working for Flipkart and DHL.
The three were returning home after dinner on Monday night when they were hit by an unidentified vehicle. They died on the spot, and the driver fled the spot, leaving the vehicle behind.
A case has been registered at the Attibele police station, and the bodies were sent to the Attibele government hospital for post-mortem examination. Bengaluru Rural police SP and Additional SP visited the spot.
