BENGALURU: A 24-year-old woman committed suicide at her house on Thursday night. The deceased has been identified as Ramita Roy, hailing from West Bengal.
Ramita was a BSc student at a private institution in the city. The reason for the suicide is not yet known, as she was living alone in the city.
A case has been registered at the Soladevanahalli police station. The police visited the spot and have taken her mobile phone while further investigation is under way. The body was sent to Victoria Hospital, and the post-mortem examination will be conducted after her parents arrive in the city on Friday.
