DAVANAGERE: Two youths died and another sustained serious injuries after the car in which they were travelling collided with a tractor and a truck at Ramagondanahalli on Wednesday night.
The deceased were identified as Manjunath (24) and Amruth (23). Another person who was seriously injured has been admitted to a private hospital in Davanagere for treatment.
They had attended a wedding in Davanagere and were heading back to their village Pandomatti in Channagiri taluk when their car hit a tractor coming from the opposite direction and then hit a truck. Those in the tractor sustained minor injuries. The Mayakonda police have registered a case.
