CHITRADURGA: Two children were hurt while 15 others had a lucky escape after an overhead water tank at an anganwadi centre fell on them when the asbestos sheet roofing gave way.
The children were attending class at the anganwadi centre at Honnur village in Challakere taluk when the asbestos roof gave way and the overhead water tank, which was full, fell inside, leaving two children injured.
The Challakere Assistant Child Development Project Officer visited the spot and inspected the damage.
