BENGALURU: Upset over her parents’ separation, a 17-year-old girl committed suicide at her house at Manjunatha Nagar near Hosakerehalli on Wednesday night.

Lekhana (17), a 10th standard failed student, was living with her mother, who had recently moved to a rented house in the area. They had moved in only 20 days ago. Lekhana’s body was sent to KIMS Hospital mortuary for post-mortem examination.

The girl’s parents, originally from Nagamangala in Mandya district, had separated two years ago. Lekhana reportedly felt lonely due to her parents’ separation.
