BENGALURU: Dengue cases are on the rise and it crossed the 21,000 mark in the state. A total of 21,342 dengue cases have been reported in the state so far of which 1,678 cases are still active.
In the past 24 hours, 156 new cases have been reported, and 10 people have died due to dengue fever so far. These include three children under the age of one. So far, 404 children under the age of one year have been diagnosed with dengue.
In the past 24 hours, 55 people between the ages of 1 and 18 years have been diagnosed with dengue. So far, 7,571 people in this age group have been affected by dengue. In the age group of 18 and above, 98 people were diagnosed with the disease. So far, 13,367 people in this age group have been tested positive for dengue.
